Leaving San Francisco was a little slow, and not only due to he volume of traffic, a couple of times we were held up by RTA’s on the freeway. We have however arrived at Sacramento and checked into a the KOA site here, good parking and friendly folk.
On the advice of my “marra” we rode downtown to Old Sacramento and wandered about for some time. Again it is interesting to see the old style of buildings living in harmony with commerce and the new buildings.
The next objective is Las Vegas, but that is 550 miles away, so not sure how long that will take us, or where we will stop en-route, just have to see what tomorrow brings.
